Lagerlöf takes the Bus to Italy

by

36-year-old director Daniel Lind Lagerlöf and his favourite actress Livia Millhagen have started a new film journey together, this time on the Buss till Italien (Bus To Italy). The film about two youngsters who go on a trip to continental Europe to sing with their choir and take a bus to Italy’s Domodossola, is loosely based on the director’s own experience when he was 16. Other actors include Karl Linnetorp (Four Shadows of Brown) and Adam Pålsson.

Produced by Lagerlöf’s company Hägring Film, Buss till Italien started shooting on May 23 at Trollhättan (Western Sweden) with co-production support from Film i Väst. Delivery date is set for December 2005, and the Swedish distributor is Sonet Film .
