, received 200,000 euros. Michael Schorr's project is a social satire in which an ambitious investor is hindered by provincial narrow-mindedness. The same amount was granted to Fay Grim, by the American independent director Hal Hartley, a spy-story involving a naïve American woman, produced by Zero Films, as well as Der Mongole, a film about the legendary Gengis Khan directed by Sergej Bodrov and produced by X Filme Creative Pool, and Lumber Kings, a comedy by Matthias Keilich produced by NiKo Film.

Offene Wunden, a comedy by Carsten Strauch, starring Julia Jentsch, Anne Tismer and Michael Gwisdek and produced by Razor Film Produktion got 250,000 euros. Der Alte Sack, an animation film by Walter Moers (Senator Film Produktion) and the musical documentary Heimatklänge (Zero Film) were respectively granted 180,000 and 80,000 euros.
