The new board at the Swedish Film Institute has elected Lisa Söderberg as the new Chairman of the Guldbagge Awards, the ‘Swedish Oscars’ that will take place next time on 30 January 2006 for the Swedish films made in 2005.
Lisa Söderberg who was President of the Board of the Swedish Film Institute between 1999-2005, takes over at the head of the Guldbagge jury from Sam Nilsson who held that position since 2000.

"The task of being at the Head of the Guldbagge jury is both fun and full of responsibility as film is a very important art form for so many people as well as our most popular cultural activity," said Lisa Söderberg.
This year’s winner of three major Guldbagge awards including Best film, was Maria Blom’s (and Cineuropa's Focus) Dalecarlians [+see also:
