Branco produces Auster

Paulo Branco, who runs the production companies Madragoa Filmes in Portugal and Gémini Films in France, will co-produce The Inner Life of Martin Frost, the upcoming film by the north-American author and director Paul Auster.
The cast for this story, based on Auster's "The Book of illusions", includes Griffin Dunne, Michael Imperioli and French actress Irène Jacob (Rouge by Krzysztof Kieslowski), whereas the music will be composed by Philip Glass, author of several soundtracks such as Sean Mathias' Bent and Stephen Daldry's The Hours.
The shoot for the 3,5 million dollars production begins next autumn in the State of New York, the mythical city of Auster's film and written works.
