Federico Greco and Roberto Leggio's film Road to L. was awarded the prestigious Silver Melies award during the Fantafestival in Rome.
All Fantasy Film Festivals, members of the European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation , give the Silver Melies, and in December all the films that have been awarded the prize compete for the Best European Film of the Year ( Golden Melies Award ), a ceremony to be held in Brussels. Road to L. will compete with 7 other films.

Produced by Digital Desk, Andrea Marotti and Pier Giorgio Bellocchio's company and Gianluca Curti 's Minerva Pictures, Road to L. is a docu-drama - between realism and fiction - tracking the famous American writer, H.P. Lovecraft during one of his mysterious trips to Polesine in 1926. 80 years later, a small American team decides to go to Italy and find out why the novelist went to the Italian Peninsula. They discover a terrible secret that may have inspired a large part of Lovecraft's work.
