Flach to fix Fuse
No sooner was Gori Vatra (Fuse), a comedy by young Bosnian film director, Pjer Zalica, presented in competition than it was taken on by international sales slate, Flach Pyramide International (FPI).
Co-produced by Austria’s Novotny & Novotny and Sarajevo’s Refresh Production with financial support from a number of European foundations like Fonds Sud, Hubert Bals and MontecinemaVerità, Gori Vatra was very well received both by critics and members of the public, who thoroughly enjoyed watching the trials and tribulations experiencec by the mayor and people of Tesanj as they struggle to ready their war-torn town for an historical visit by US President, Bill Clinton.
