Notro films teach you about love

by

The Catalan distribution company Notro Films has just bought the Giovanni Veronesi’s comedy Manuale d’amore, which is due to premiere in Spain in January 2006.

Like in a manual, evoked by the title, Manuale d’amore follows the life of two couples whose love is in different status of evolution: "falling in love", "crisis", "betrayal" and "abandonment". Starring Jasmine Trinca - her second feature after Moretti’s La stanza del figlio, Silvio Muccino, Sergio Rubini, Margherita Buy, Luciana Littizzetto and Carlo Verdone, the film pays tribute to the Italian comedies by Scola and Risi. Entirely shot in Rome between July and October 2004, the film, produced by Aurelio De Laurentis, had a budget of 5 million euros .
