Woolcock‘s Mischief Night underway

UK filmmaker Penny Woolcock who directed the very personal and arthouse-oriented films The Death of Klinghoffer and The Principles of Lust, is moving into the mainstream with Mischief Night currently filming in Leeds.
Produced by Abi Bach and Willow Gryllis for Company Pictures with co-financing from Film Four, Screen Yorkshire and the UK Film Council, the film is a lively dark comedy and unsentimental look at friendship set amongst the Asian community in Northern Britain, It is the third part of ‘Tina’s trilogy’ after Tina Goes Shopping and Tina On The Estate made for Channel Four.
International sales are handled by Pathe International, and Pathe Distribution is responsible for the UK theatrical release.
