4,65 million euros of Advance on Receipts

The finance committee for the National Film Centre (CNC ) met during July to propose to director general , Véronique Cayla the amounts awarded to projects benefiting from Advance on Receipts. 4,65 million euros were set aside at this session in favour of 13 features for pre-production.

by Robert Guédiguian (production Agat Films & Cie) who were advanced 380 000 euros, Nouvelle chance by Anne Fontaine (Mosca Films – 400 000 euros), the documentary Retour en Normandie by Nicolas Philibert (150 000 euros for a co-production with Maïa FilmsLes Films d'Ici) and Intouchables by Patrick Grandperret (410 000 euros – Les Films du Worso). Pressentiments, first feature to be directed by the actor Jean-Pierre Darroussin produced by Agat Films was given 420 000 euros (Agat Films) while Ca brûle by Claire Simon gained 410 000 euros (production Maïa Films).

The summer list also includes Les amitiés maléfiques by Emmanuel Bourdieu (450 000 euros – 4 à 4 Productions),Les anges exterminateurs by Jean-Claude Brisseau (380 000 euros - Nord Express Productions), L’Année suivante by Isabelle Czajka (450 000 euros – Pickpocket Productions), Les fragments d’Antonin by Gabriel Le Bomin (450 000 euros - Dragoonie Films) and Le grand appartement by Pascal Thomas (350 000 euros – Les Films Français).
Finally, the CNC gave 300 000 euros to Mon frère se marie by Swiss Stéphane Bron, a co-production with French outfit Les Films Pelléas, and 100 000 euros to the documentary La danse enchanteresse (La Vie est Belle Films Associés ).
