Deadline for the East European Forum 2005

The Institute of Documentary Film (IDF), in cooperation with the International Documentary Festival Jihlava and European Documentary Network, has opened up a submission for new documentary projects for their fifth edition of the East European Forum. The EFF is aiming to support financing and creation of quality Eastern European documentary films by uniting directors and independent producers with leading European TV commissioning editors, distributors and independent producers.
The pitching workshop takes place in Czech Republic during the 9th edition of Jihlava's International Documentary Festival. On October 26-28, international tutors will help and work with the participants to prepare their proposals to the terms and standards demanded by European commissioning editors. On October 29-30, 12 to 14 selected people will get a chance to pitch their projects in the framework of the East European Pitching Forum. The deadline for sending projects is September 5th.
