Domenico Procacci, producer with Fandango of the film Texas, polemized against the festival's artistic director Marco Müller: "The decision to put Fausto Paravidino's film in the Horizon section rather than in competition, selecting the works of three already recognized authors, seems coherent to me with regard to the festival's general outlines, announced by its director. Indeed, as said Müller to the press, the Mostra's duty is not to discover new talents. I disagree with that statement. On the contrary, I believe the festival should indicate new cinema paths and discover new filmmakers such as Fausto Paravidino, who is making his debut. Not taking risks can be very risky".
