EFA to honour Sean Connery

Scottish actor Sir Sean Connery will receive the European Film Academy Lifetime Achievement Award during the 18th European Film Awards ceremony that will take place in Berlin on December 3, 2005.
During his film career spanning over 50 years and including more than 70 films, the star actor has gained world recognition not only for embodying the famous 007 secret agent James Bond, but also for his parts in Alfred Hitchcock’s Marnie, John Milius’ The Wind And The Lion, Brian de Palma’s The Untouchables, Jean-Jacques Annaud’s The Name Of The Rose or Gus van Sant’s Finding Forrester.
