A nine-month 'discovery'
From February to October 2006, the Discovery Campus will allow fifteen European authors, directors and producers to follow an intensive training on all the aspects of documentary making, with an emphasis on access to the international market. The Campus consists of four seminars, teaching the participants not only how to make documentaries, but also how to develop, produce, and sell them worldwide. The 'happy few' selected for this programme will also be able to join a production or sales firm for up to two months of intensive training, participating in the current projects and attending forums and markets to learn international business strategies.
The applicants must be 22 or more, speak English, have experience in their own country (or, for the younger partcipants, show diplomas from specialised schools), and have had a documentary broadcast on TV.
The deadline is the 4th of October. The necessary information and application forms can be found on http://www.discovery-campus.de.
