Three Swiss films distinguished in Namur

The 20th Namur International French-speaking Film Festival, which came to an end on the 30th of September, awarded the Swiss three-fold. Indeed, the Belgian public distinguished Tout un hiver sans feu ('A whole Winter and no fire') by Greg Zglinski (CAB Productions). This fiction, already awarded Swiss Film of the year, will also represent thecountry at the Oscars and the EFA 2006. The Special Jury Prize was granted to Delwende, by the Burkinabe director S. Pierre Yameogo, a co-production involving Pierre-Alain Meier (Thelma Film), while the Jury’s Special Distinction went to Exit, a documentary by Fernand Melgar (production: Climage) named after an association designed to help suicidal cases.
