On the basis of the success of The Little Bastard (Kleines Arschloch), by Michael Schaack and Veit Vollmer, an animated film which, in 1997, sold over three million tickets, Senator Film has decided to bring Walter Moers' comic-book brat back to the screen in Das kleine Arschloch und der alte Sack - Sterben ist Scheisse.

This cartoon, directed again by Michael Schaack, is co-produced by TFC Trickompany (producer of Schaack's previous work, Werner - Das muss kesseln , co-directed by Udo Beissel, and of Käpt'n Blaubär, written by Walter Moers and made into a film in 1999 by Hayo Freitag). The comedian Helge Schneider will be the voice of the 'old bag' the title refers to. Das kleine Arschloch und der alte Sack - Sterben ist Scheisse will be released next Summer.
