The festival is also an ideal platform for Le Regard by Nour-Eddine Lakhmari, Marocco-born director who has been living in Norway for the last 20 years. His film is about French war photographer Albert Tueis and his experiences in Morocco under French protectorate.
Other films screening include Arne Skouen’s classic film from 1969 Ann-Magritt, Bent Hamer’s previous film Kitchen Stories released in France in 2003 by Les Films du Losange , and Annette Sjursen’s first feature film My Jealous Barber produced by Maipo Film and sold by Nordisk Film Sales.
After Paris, the celebration of Norwegian cinema in France will continue as part of film festivals in Clermont-Ferrand, Rouen, La Rochelle and Caen.
