Mediaschool, the students’festival
For the 12th time, cinema students and their teachers will have the opportunity to meet in Łódź at the Mediaschool for the International Cinema and Televsion Schools Festival.
The festival will take place in the famous Łódź Film School and will be open to students from around the world. Among the participants of this 12th edition will be young directors representing 34 schools from 20 different countries. During this opening day the international jury members will view the 94 chosen films.
This is mainly done to support the students that entered the competition, accompanied by their teachers from Germany, China, Egypt, France, United Kingdom, Iran, Lithuania, Slovakia and Taiwan. The festival awards will be made public this Saturday October 22nd, during the closing ceremony, when the president of the public television TVP (Grand Prize), the Minister of Culture, the Lord Mayor of Łódź, Kodak Polska and Chimney Pot Polska.
Besides the competition, the programme will also include a review of the Łódź Film School archives.
