11 nominations for the EFA - Arte Award

A total of 11 documentaries will run this year for the European Film Academy Documentary 2005 – Prix Arte.
The jury, composed by Jacques Laurent, Belgian producer, Alessandro Signettei, president of the Associazione Documentaristi Italiani (Italy) and Noemi Schory, head of Sam Spiegel Film and Television School Jerusalem (Israel) will have to chose between one of the following films:

Am seidenen faden (Stroke) by Katarina Peters (Germany),
The Devil's Miner – Berg des teufels by Richard Ladkani and Kief Davidson (Germany),
Leiputrija (Dreamland) by Laila Pakamnima (Latvia / Germany),
Melodias by François Bovy (Switzerland),
Pries parskrendant I zeme (Before Flying Back on the Earth) by Arunas Matelis (Lithuania, Germany),
Repetitioner (Rehearsals) by Michal Leszczylowky and Gunnar Källström (Sweden),
The Swenkas by Jeppe Rcnde (Denmark, Sweden),
Un dragon dans les eaux pures du caucase (The Pipiline Next Door) by Nino Kirtadzé (France),
Ungdommens Råskap (Raw Youth) by Sabina Guzzanti (Italy),
Workingman's death by Michael Glawogger (Austria, Germany),

The winner will be announced in the EFA Awards Ceremony, which will take place on the 3rd of December in Berlin.
