Founded in July 2003, the young distribution company La Fabrique de films has enjoyed a favourable Autumn, notably in the wake of the British film The descent [+see also:

Released on the12th of October with a decent total of 144 prints, the feature, screened out of competition at the Venice Mostra (see l'article), accumulated 323 000 admissions in three weeks of exhibition, with more than 136 screens showing it. Worth noting, too, the impressive resistance of this title which loses around 20 % of its audience each week, promising it success in the long term despite the current strong competition in French cinemas. A bonus for the company headed by Franck Ribière and Vérane Frédiani who caught the attention with Ferpect Crime by Alex de La Iglesia. Released on the 11th of May with 60 prints, the Spanish film had the best average-per-copy in its first week up against Lemming [+see also:

and Last days, only lost its pole position the following week to Star Wars, and ended its run with over 140 000 admissions.
