The children's jury distinguished Bibi Blocksberg and the Secret of the Blue Owls (t.o. Bibi Blocksberg und das Geheimnis der blauen Eulen), a feature produced by Bavaria and Kiddinx and directed by Franziska Buch, whose previous works earned her numerous prizes. In this film, the main character is a little girl whose interest in wizardry is at the expense of her school-work, so she is sent to a summer boarding-school. The children's jury also granted Christian Zuebert a "Certificate of excellence" for The Treasure of the White Falcons (o.t. Der Schatz der weissen Falken).

In the "Animation features and videos" category, the adults' jury gave the first prize to Laura's Star (t.o. Lauras Stern), by Piet de Rycker ( read the interview) and Thilo Graf Rothkirch.
