An apology of eulogy

The big winner of the 15th Festival of EastEuropean Cinema in Cottbus (8-12 November) was Jan Cvitcovic. Gravehopping (read the interview), a Croatian and Slovenian film which depicts the life of a professional eulogist was voted "Best Film".

, a Romanian and Swiss co-production where the director, Ruxandra Zenide, focuses on the relationship of a tomboy and her father. The Special Prize for outstanding artistic contribution was granted to First People on the Moon, a Russian movie produced and directed by Alexei Fedorchenko.
