New film commissioners at the SFI

Three new film commissioners have just been appointed at the Swedish Film Institute who are due to take up their posts on January 1rst, 2006 to coincide with the inception of the new Film Agreement in Sweden.

Peter Piodor Gustafsson will succeed Per Nielsen as the new feature Film Commissioner. Currently working as an independent producer, Gustafsson was the founder of Happy Life Animation and creative producer of Wegelius Film and Wegelius Animation. He also worked as a producer at Svensk Filmindustri, and played an advisory role in MEDIA Plus, the EU support organisation for the film and audiovisual industries.
Tove Torbiörnsson is the new Documentary Film Commissioner, succeeding Hjalmar Palmgren, and Johan Bogaeus, a scriptwriter for the screen, stage and television, succeeds Gila Bergqvist-Ulfung as Children’s Film Commissioner.
