Danish cinema is strongly represented this year at the 46th Thessaloniki International Film Festival (18-27 November) with seven feature films screening as part of special 'Focus on New Danish Cinema' and a 'Meet the Danes' seminar taking place today. Filmmaker Christoffer Boe (Allegro [+see also:

film profile]), producer Thomas Gammeltot from Fine & Mellow Productions (Chinaman), producer Peter Garde from Zentropa Productions and Danish Film Institute's representatives Henning Camre, Head of administration and Vinca Wiedeman, Head of training will be on hand to exchange views with their Greek counterparts.

The Focus on New Danish Cinema will give Thessaloniki audiences the opportunity to discover the new generation of Danish filmmakers with a selection of films produced over the last three years. Those include Anders Thomas Jensen's local hit Adam's Apples [+see also:
