The members of the Board of Directors of Cinecittà Holding - who had been in office for three years – have unanimously decided to resign from their posts and have convened a company assembly to be held in the upcoming days.

The decision was reached upon examining the Cultural Ministry’s end-of-the-year report, from which emerged a positive evaluation of Cinecittà Holding’s activities. The Board’s pro forma move was determined "by the desire to allow the [Cultural] Minister to exercise his shareholder’s rights and freely exercise his authority in light of the new report."
