film profile] (read Focus dedicated by Cineuropa and Cinergie to the film) has been awarded the Best feature prize at the International Cine Festival of Gijon (Spain) which finished this week end. The critics at the Festival awarded him the Prix Fipresci.
After the screening at the Berlin Festival in the section Panorama where he received the CICAE prize, Ultranova is released in Belgium, in France, and in Holland. Sold internationally by Films Distribution, it should come out in the UK screens next week and in Germany in early January.
Currently, Versus Production, who have worked with him since his first short, are working with Bouli Lanners as he prepares his second feature, Léa, in development.
