Istituto Luce: Agreement with Polish Film Institute
L’Istituto Luce and the Polish Film Institute have joined forces to preserve their archives and diffuse their historical material for educational purposes. Luce’s managing director, Luciano Sovena, and the director of the Polski Instytut Sztuki Filmowej in Warsaw, Agnieszka Odorowicz, have signed a protocol agreement to begin an intra-institutional collaboration. The agreement will generate projects aimed at preservation, historical diffusion and education through documentary creation, professional training and the creation of jobs within the film industry.
Furthermore, a workgroup will be set up to evaluate possible additional collaborative forms between the two countries, which will be able to draw upon the wealth of images available in their archives in order to advance both cultures.
