How to fish for funds at the Berlinale
Peacefulfish, a media consulting company specialising in financial planning for producers and developing new financial instruments for fund raising for film and digital content not only in France, Germany and the UK, but across Europe and the rest of the world, is taking advantage of the Berlinale again to organise, in collaboration with Film 20, a conference on international film financing.
This meeting, scheduled on 2/9/2006 (the first day of the Berlin IIF), will focus on the changes currently affecting the market and the new means of combining different funds and tax incentives to respond to increasing budgets. The main topics will be the situation in the three above-mentioned European countries, co-production opportunities in Eastern Europe, distribution in Europe, and new private equity models.
