14 Roberts nominations for Manslaughter

is by far the biggest nominee for this year’s Roberts Awards –the Danish Oscars- that will be handed out at Copenhagen’s Base Camp on February 5th.

Fly’s third film in his societal trilogy which has already won many international awards including the prestigious Nordic Film Council Prize, received 14 nominations in total. It will compete in the Best film category against Lars von Trier’s second part in his US trilogy Manderlay [+see also:

nominated 9 times, Åke Sandgren’s thriller Flies On The Wall nominated 8 times, Anders Thomas Jensen’s dark comedy Adams’ Apples [+see also:

In the acting categories, the five leading male nominees are Nikolaj Lie Kaas for Murk, Troels Lyby for Accused, Jesper Christensen for Manslaughter, Bjarne Henriksen for Chinaman and Ulrich Thomsen for Adam’s Apples. And the five lead actresses competing this year are Sofie Gråbol for Accused, Trine Dyrholm for Flies On The Wall, Lene Maria Christensen for Jesper W.Nielsen’s Big Plans, Birthe Neumann for The Sun King and the US Bryce Dallas Howard for Manderlay [+see also:
