Telecom-Sky agreement for films on the web
Telecom Italia has struck an agreement with Sky for broadcasting the satellite TV operator’s cinema package through the Internet TV of Telecom "Alice Home TV". Starting in February, the service will enable viewers to watch the Sky Cinema channels dedicated to the best domestic and international films. Launched in December in Bologna, Milan, Palermo and Rome, "Alice Home TV" will soon be available in another 17 cities, and reach approximately 4 million Italian families.
The new films will be added to another 400 titles available once agreements with the main distribution companies are signed, including Paramount Pictures, Warner Bros, RAI Cinema, BIM, Lucky Red, Media Film and Mikado.
