Four projects were also selected for advance on receipts from the second commission, headed by producer Bruno Pesery (Arena Films), two of which do not yet have producers onboard: Le premier venu (lit. "The First Arrival") by Jacques Doillon and Séraphine by Martin Provost.
The other projects retained during the February 23 session are Moussa Sene Absa’s Terranga Blues (Productions de la Lanterne) and Raymond Depardon’s documentary La vie moderne (lit. "Modern Life"), produced by the filmmaker’s company Palmeraie et Desert.
