Polar bears and Italian criminals

Seven new European films – five French, one Belgian and one Italian – will vie for the favour of French audiences from today. They are up against two US productions and one New Zealand and one Argentinean/Spanish co-production.

The menu is very diverse, with The White Planet (La planète blanche) by Thierry Ragobert and Thierry Piantanida in the spotlight – released by Bac Films on 400 prints. Produced by Gédéon Programmes, this documentary on the Arctic animal will try to follow in the footsteps of March of the Penguins.
