SIAE: 8.27% fall in cinema spending
Italian audiences have gone to the cinema less often in the past two years.
According to statistical research conducted by the SIAE (Italian Publishers and Authors Association), which will be presented today in Rome, cinema spending for the 2004-2005 biennial decreased by 8.27%.
This coincides with the data released recently by the producers and directors of ANICA (Italian Association of Cinematographic Audiovisual and Multimedia Industries), which registered a 7.4% drop in admissions in 2005 with respect to 2004.
