may arrive in Italian theatres with a restriction against minors under the age of 14.

Directed by Stefan Fjeldmark, Kresten Vestbjerg and Andersen Thorbjørn Christoffersen, is the first wholly computer-generated Danish feature and was presented at home as a family film that tackles the topic of bullies with irreverence and political incorrectness, making it into the top ten Danish box office with 380,000 admissions.

The abundant swearing and violent scenes, however, have Italian distributor Moviemax (in collaboration with Officine Ubu and Bo Casper Entertainment) fearing censors. Just days before its Italian release (on April 7), they still do not know whether the explosive mix between South Park and The Simpsons will ruffle the feathers of the Italian Censorship Committee.

The characters’ voices in the Italian version are brought to life by the rock group Elio e le storie tese, Claudio Bisio and Lella Costa. "This is not a cartoon for children,” said Elio, “but I still think it’s an educational film, because it deals with difficult and troubling topics that regard all children in the early phase of their lives".
