PRODUCTION Poland

Polish producers at P.R.I.M.E.

by

Polish producers will have a chance to participate in P.R.I.M.E. – the European programme for the training and development of projects and support in searching for financing – thanks to the Polish Film Institute and Media Desk Polska.

Like all participants, Polish producers will submit their projects to receive expert advice, as well as reports that will then be sent to the partner financing institutions. Their entry in the international programme will give Polish professionals the chance to network with their European colleagues and allow both parties to exchange experiences and seek other possible sources of film financing. The Polish Film Institute and Media Desk Polska will also offer a scholarship to a Polish student for P.R.I.M.E.

The first training seminar will take place from June 7-11, 2006 in Berlin. In order to facilitate access to this meeting of Polish producers, the deadline for applications has been extended to the beginning of May.

Poland is the first new EU member state to be a member of P.R.I.M.E., a programme initiated by Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, the Austrian Film Institute, and the Swiss Training Organisation FOCAL, and financed by the MEDIA programme.
