The "Professional Days" return to Sorrento
The 29th edition of the Professional Days (“Giornate professionali”), organised by ANEC, ANEM and UNIDIM, will be held in Sorrento from July 4-6. The organisers are currently working to hold the autumn part of the event in Rome, between late November and early December.
Approximately 2,000 exhibitors, distributors, producers, directors, writers and journalists will participate in Sorrento. Besides the trailers and premieres of upcoming releases for the second half of the year that will be shown, new Italian projects will be presented by directors and actors as part of "Pronti, quasi pronti, al nastro di partenza" (“Ready, almost ready, at the starting gate”).
Other events and conferences will be dedicated to various themes of particular interest to the film industry. The most recent data on the Italian cinema will be presented during a press conference by the organisers. The MAGIS, exhibit of technological products for cinemas, will be held throughout the entire event.
