MEDIA 2007 explained to the industry

The European Commission will be seizing the great number of film professionals attending the upcoming Cannes Film Festival to organise an information conference on MEDIA 2007, to be held on May 23 (3:30-5pm) in the Espace Ambassadeurs (Palais des Festivals).
This conference will take place one week after the plenary session of the European Parliament and the European Council of Ministers of Culture, scheduled for May 18. MEDIA 2007 is on the agenda of both these meetings.
The presentation will offer the latest details on the adoption procedure, budget and priorities of the new programme, which, as of next January, will replace the two current MEDIA programmes: Media Training and Media Plus. No prior registration is required.
