Trust closes deals on Red Road and Princess

to Greece (Strada Film), Benelux (A Film) and Israel (Shani Films), along with Anders Morgenthaler’s controversial Princess [+see also:

, which opened the Directors’ Fortnight to Spain (Artmode), UK/Ireland and the US (Tartan Films). The animated film for adult audiences had previously been snapped by Filmfreak Distribution for Benelux and Central Partnership for Russia.

“I’m positive that we’re going to close many more great sales on both films because all the Cannes screenings have been very well received by the press and distributors”, said Natja Rosner, Trust’s Sales Executive. Zentropa’s sales arm is also presenting the international premiere of Swedish director Björn Runge’s Mouth to Mouth at Cannes, which has been selected for competition at the 2006 Karlovy Vary Film Festival; Susanne Bier’s new local box office hit After the Wedding [+see also:

(390,000 admissions in Denmark); and the animated Latvian/Danish puppet animation film by Janis Cimermanis and Gert Fredholm, The Three Musketeers. The company is also pre-selling Lars von Trier’s upcoming The Boss Of it All, which will have its world premiere at Copenhagen Film Festival next September.
