An international project for RAI Trade
Rai Trade, the international distribution arm of Italy’s public television, is debuting in film project development.
At Cannes, they announced having optioned the novel A Fortune-Teller Told Me by journalist and writer Tiziano Terzani , who passed away in 2004, which will be adapted into an English-language film. Documentary filmmaker Mario Zanot is currently developing the screenplay.
At the Cannes Market, RAI Trade represented Fuoco su di me (lit. “Fire On Me”) by Lamberto Lambertini, which sold to Brazil, the Middle East, Thailand, Australia, Russia, France, the Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria and Mexico and The Second Wedding Night [+see also:

RAI Trade’s slate also includes the new film by Maurizio Sciarra, Quale amore (lit. “Which Love”), based on the Tolstoy novel The Kreutzer Sonata, which has gathered interest from France, Spain and Germany.
