Bellocchio, Moretti and Sorrentino on display
There will be three Italian films on the "Horizons" of the Karlovy Vary Film Festival (June 30-July 8), in this sections that offers a panorama of auteur films acclaimed by critics and audiences alike.
These films are The Wedding Director by Marco Bellocchio, The Caiman [+see also:

film profile] by Nanni Moretti and The Family Friend by Paolo Sorrentino, which will not be released in Italy until December.
There are also two Italian co-productions in Horizons: The Fine Art of Love by John Irvin, produced by Titania Produzioni with a contribution by MiBAC, Creative Partners International (UK), Balzer International Film (CK), and in collaboration with Box Film (UK) and RAI Cinema, and sold abroad by Adriana Chiesa Enterprises; and Family Law [+see also:
film profile] by Argentina’s Daniel Burman, co-produced in Italy by Amedeo Pagani for Classic Films, with international sales being handled by Celluloid Dreams.
There will be yet another Italian film at the festival, Along the Ridge [+see also:
