film profile] has well exceeded the €1m box office mark. On June 20, Nanni Moretti’s film registered 200,149 admissions for a total box office of €1,170,871.

Co-produced by French company Bac Films, the film is being shown on 154 screens. Wild Bunch, whose headquarters are in Paris, is handling international sales. Besides the US and Spain, which are still being negotiated, The Caiman has been acquired by the principal European and American markets.

In Italy, the film was released on March 24 and has grossed over €6.7m (according to Auditel data of June 18, 2006).
