Approximately 2,000 exhibitors, distributors, producers, directors, writers, actors and journalists are expected to come to Sorrento from July 4-6 for the 29th edition of the Professional Screening Days , organised by the exhibitors’ associations ANEC and ANEM, and by the distributors of UNIDIM, with a contribution from the Ministry of Culture.

Besides the trailers and preview screenings of upcoming releases of the following six months, directors and actors will also be onhand to present the latest Italian films.

The comic trio Aldo, Giovanni and Giacomo will present their new film, Anplagghed, the cinematic version of their Italian theatrical box office success while Mario Monicelli will speak on Le rose nel deserto (lit. “Desert Roses”. Other encounters and conferences will be dedicated to various topics of particular interest to the film industry. There will also be a professional presentation on digital cinema and MagisLight, to display the latest exhibition technologies. The Screening Days will close with a press conference presentation of the latest market trends data.
