The directorial debut by Switzerland’s Sören Senn, Your Happiness Depends On Me! [+see also:

film profile], won the Silver Grape at the 36th Lubuskie Film Summer - Lagow in Poland, which ended on July 8.

Already winner of the Babelsberger Medienpreis 2005 and the Maverick Spirit Award 2006 at the San José Cinequest Film Festival (United States), this graduation film has been presented at over 20 international festivals, including the 2005 Montreal World Film Festival and the recent Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where it was among ten European films selected by US magazine Variety (see interview with the director in our Special Report).

Produced by the Hochschule fuer Film & Fernsehen "Konrad Wolf" in Postdam-Babelsberg, Novapool Production and the director himself, Your Happiness Depends On Me! opened on German screens on June 1.
