by

Filming ended today in Angoulême on Et toi, t’es sur qui ? (lit. "And you, who are you with?"), the first feature by Lola Doillon, daughter of well-known director Jacques Doillon.

A First Assistant Director on her father’s films (Petits Frères, 1998 and Raja, 2003), as well as on films by Cédric Klapisch (Pot Luck, 2002 and Not For, Nor Against (Quite the Contrary), 2003), Doillon has made a debut feature about adolescence, a theme she already explored in her short film Majorettes – presented at the 2005 Cannes Directors’ Fortnight and the Tribeca Film Festival.

by Costa Gavras), Lucie Desclozeaux, Gaël Tavares, Nicolas Shweri, Shomron Haddad and Héloïse Etrillard.

The 31 year-old director’s film recounts the misadventures of 15 year-old Élodie and her best friend, a Goth fan of the same age, who decide to sleep with boys for the first time. But the two girls are confronted with a situation very different from the one they imagined. Élodie also discovers how a friendship with her best friend Vincent can turn into love.

Shot in five weeks and produced by Saga Blanchard for Ce Qui Me Meut Motion Picture (Bruno Levy and Klapisch’s company, producers of the director’s previous shorts), Et toi, t’es sur qui ? received co-production and pre-sales financing from France 2 Cinéma.

The film is being co-produced by Canal +, StudioCanal Vidéo, the Poitou-Charente region and the Charente département.

Rezo Films is expected to release the film in France in spring 2007.
