Minister Rutelli discusses reforms with producers

by

Is a change of direction possible for the Italian film industry? This is the question participants will ask themselves at a conference organized by daily financial paper Il Sole 24 Ore on August 31 at the Venice Film Festival , aptly entitled "Cinema italiano: la svolta possibile" (lit. "Italian Cinema: A Possible Change).

Presided over by the Venice Biennale Foundation President Davide Croff, the conference will also be attended by Minister of Culture Francesco Rutelli, who will speak to producers on legislative reforms and new tools and resources for supporting cinema.

Participants will include CEO of RAI Cinema and General Vice President of RAI, Giancarlo Leone; president of National Film Producers Union Riccardo Tozzi; Roberto Cicutto, member of the Independent Producers Association; and Secretary of the Cultural Commission of the House of Deputies, Andrea Colasio.

To attend the conference, please call +39 02 34973209 for accreditation.
