The distribution arm of Senator will handle the upcoming, November 16 release of the new film by Anno Saul (Kebab Connection), Wo ist Fred! (lit. "Where is Fred?"), starring Til Schweiger.

The film – based on a script by Jane Ainscough, Bora Dagtekin, Ken Daurio and Cinco Paul – describes the most admirable attempts of worker Fred (Schweiger) to seduce Maria (Anna Kling).

Setting out to fulfil the dream of Maria’s son – to get a basketball autographed by all of the members of the Alba-Berlin team – and helped by his friend Alex (Jürgen Vogel), Fred pretends to be disabled and gains access to the stands reserved to wheelchair spectators, thereby finding himself in the well-deserved role of the hero in a documentary being made by Denise (Alexandra Maria Lara).

Disagreements between Senator and the production company threatened the release of Wo ist Fred!, which was originally entitled Special, but the distributor stated the dispute has now been resolved.
