Moretti's Caiman at Beirut Film Festival

Despite the devastation of the recent bombings, the 7th edition of the
Beirut International Film Festival (October 4-11) will open
under the banner "Make film, not war", as declared the festival's
artistic director, Colette Naufal, at Venice yesterday, in the
presence of Venice Director Marco Muller, Biennale President Davide
Croff, and Venice Mayor Massimo Cacciari. The competition section, of
10 films in the Arabic language, will be accompanied by an
international selection that will include Nanni Moretti's The Caiman [+see also:
