Last call for co-productions with East
The Robert Bosch Foundation, in partnership with the Baden-Württemberg Film Agency, has something new for young producers, directors, scriptwriters and DoPs with a co-production project between Germany and Eastern and South-Eastern Europe. The project offers a series of grants totalling €210,000, with a cap of €70,000 per production. The funds are to be allocated at the GoEast Festival, taking place in April 2007 in Wiesbaden.
Eligible projects (shorts, animated films, documentaries) are to be presented by teams – consisting of German nationals and members from an Eastern or Southeastern European country – committed to producing the works in full in the co-production countries. Individuals cannot apply, as the funds are specifically aimed at promoting cultural exchange.
The closing date for applications is September 30. Forms and further information are available on the Filmförderpreis website.
