Festival suspends many of today's events following Metro accident
Following a tragic accident this morning in one of Rome's two Metro lines, which caused 104 injuries and two deaths, the directors of the RomeFilmFest published a press released for industry professionals stating that, in solidarity with the city's pain, the festival will suspend any event today that is not a screening or press screening, all of which will be preceded by a moment of silence.
"Other measures," says the statement, "will be decided following an accord with the city's authorities".
