ANICA: "An international market in Rome"
"Rome could be the new seat of an important and prestigious international film market", according to Paolo Ferrari, president of ANICA (the umbrella group for all the associations and organizations working within the Italian entertainment industry), in a letter sent to Rome Mayor Walter Veltroni and Goffredo Bettini, president of the RomeFilmFest.
"The Business Street kept its promises and met with expectations", wrote Ferrari, who is also president of Warner Bros. Italia, further complimenting the FilmFest for "the wonderful results of [its] first edition. The event drew many audiences, was appreciated by industry operators and was closely followed by the media".
