Horror on the Black Sea
Shooting began on October 31 on the beaches of the seaside city of Bourgas on the new Warner Bros horror film Return to the House on Haunted Hill. Produced by Robert Zemeckis and Joel Silver’s Dark Castle Productions, the film will be directed by Spain’s Víctor García, who replaces US filmmaker William Malone, the director of 1999’s House on Haunted Hill (a remake of the 1959 classic starring Vincent Price).
On the beaches overlooking the Black Sea, Warner Bros is being backed by a crew composed of 38 members of the BUFO - Bulgarian Unified Film Organization, who are working on all matters related to logistics and technology.
The film’s DoP is Italian cinematographer Lorenzo Senatore, a specialist in action films.
